In this exclusive interview, Capps Crossing: Wrong Side of Dead director Mike Stahl reveals how he broke the Final Girl trope and created a psychological thriller that flips the script on the formula. The Capps Crossing sequel is now available on On Demand and Digital. 

The film follows Amber, a social profiler and elite athlete whose birthday getaway with friends turns into a nightmare when a tortured park ranger unleashes a weekend of terror deep in the woods. 

The director discusses creating a fresh take on survival horror, challenging audience expectations, and why Wrong Side of Dead doesn't follow the traditional slasher rulebook.
