PREMIUM RUSH, opening August 24, 2012, refers to the the rush job for bicycle messengers. Joseph Gordon Levitt is Wilee,one of those messengers who rides throughout the streets of New York City on a fixie, a super lightweight, single-gear bikes with no brakes that requires equal part skilled cyclist and nutcase who risk becoming a smear on the pavement every time they head into traffic. But Gordon-Levitt's character is used to putting his life on the line especially when his last envelope of the day – a routine “premium rush” run – turns into a life or death chase through the streets of Manhattan.
Dania Ramirez's character in PREMIUM RUSH isn't so skilled at the bike as we see in this clip.
PREMIUM RUSH also stars Michael Shannon and Jamie Chung.
