Production for the much anticipated AQUAMAN starring Jason Mamoa is underway, and director James Wan kicks off the shoot with an image from a table read with Wan, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson with Wan.
The DC superhero gets his stand alone movie for an October 5, 2018 release, and the project is currently in pre-production with the cast starting their table reads. Director James Wan posted the image featuring some of the cast and himself on Twitter Tuesday night.
Jason Momoa play Aquaman in the stand alone movie with Amber Heard as the queen of the sea, Mera and Patrick Wilson is Orm, half-brother and arch enemy to Aquaman.
Momoa already made his debut as the DC comic book character in a brief cameo in BATMAN V SUPERMAN, and the actor will have a larger role in the upcoming JUSTICE LEAGUE opening November 17, 2017.
