While promoting Lawrence's latest film, HUNGER GAMES: THE BALLAD OF SONGBIRDS AND SNAKES, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to find out the status of the CONSTANTINE sequel which comes almost two decades since the 2005 movie. Since then a television series followed but the director states in our interview that it took "a long time" for him and Reeves to gain the rights back. He said before the pandemic, Reeves, screenwriter Goldsman and the filmmaker were hashing out a story but all that was halted due to the pandemic and then the writer's strike. Now they're ready to tackle the screenplay.
