J.J .Abrams, Harrison Ford, Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley, Lupita Nyong'o and John Boyega surprised guests at Disney's D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif. Saturday, August 15 during the Disney panel for their upcoming live-action films. No new footage was shown, but the cast were excited to share that the crowd would receive an exclusive poster for THE FORCE AWAKENS designed by Drew Struzan, the artist responsible for other Star Wars posters, to take home (and we did too).
In the exclusive one-sheet for Episode VII, Kylo Ren and Finn are both grasping lighsabers, red representing the dark side for Ren and a blue lightsaber for Finn. Is this a clue to the story in THE FORCE AWAKENS? From the trailer, we've gathered that Finn switches sides when he takes off his stormtrooper helmet and makes a run for it. Finn and Ridley appear to be on the same team in a few of the actions scenes in the previews. We still don't know how Luke and Princess Leia fit in with these new characters, but if the force is strong with Finn -Luke will definitely be the Obi-Wan Kenobi to this padawan.
