Director Todd Phillips announced via an Instagram post that the JOKER sequel has wrapped production by sharing two images of Lady Gaga in her Harley Quinn persona and Joaquin Phoenix in Joker mode.
JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX has been shooting around the New York streets in the last few weeks with dozens of public images showing up all over the internet. Phillips went on Instagram Wednesday to announce the end of production for the sequel with two images of the leads in full transformation. While the plot is unknown, we can assume the story will revolve around Arthur romancing his future cohort and girlfriend Harley Quinzel (Lady Gaga) into a life of crime. The final images from the production reflect the ultimate character arc of the notorious DC Comic villains.
The 'Arthur met Harley' rom-com will hit theaters on October 4, 2024.
