Watch 10-Minutes of Disney's JOHN CARTER

Before heading out to see the long-awaited JOHN CARTER movie this weekend, watch 10-minutes of the Disney science fiction starring Taylor Kitsch.

Adapted from the Edgar Rice Burroughs comic book novel, JOHN CARTER is a Civil War veteran is mining the frontier of Arizona for gold when he is suddenly transported to Mars. On Mars he encounters new powers and 12-foot tall creatures and a princess in need of himself.

In the 10-minute preview, John Carter is introduced during the post-Civil War era as a man on the edge, fighting Bryan Cranston's Captain Powell who is trying to recruit him back into service.  When John Carter refuses he's jailed, but he keeps escaping until he's on the run with not only the cavalry after him but the Apaches as well.  The clip ends with the Apaches cornering John Carter and Captain Powell in a cave but they back away fearing something. John Carter investigates and sees what spooked the Apaches.  

Disney leaves you with a cliffhanger, hoping fans will line up opening weekend to see the rest. JOHN CARTER also stars Lynn Collins, Samantha Morton, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, Mark Strong, and Dominic West.
