We really don't need another re-imagining of a Tarzan movie, but if it stars Alexander Skarsgard shirtless we're all for it. The "True Blood" star plays the jungle boy in THE LEGEND OF TARZAN with Margot Robbie (Suicide Squad) in the Jane role. Warner Bros. has released the first two images (via USA Today) from the action movie opening July 1, 2016.
Directed by David Yates, who directed the last four Harry Potter movies, trades in Hogwarts for the jungles of Africa in a re-telling of Edgar Rice Burroughs' famous character. In this updated version, we find Lord Greystoke in London society acclimated (sort of) to the aristocratic life when he's called back to his childhood home in Africa, along with his wife Jane.
The new images of Skarsgard and Robbie are very steamy and the chemistry jumps off the pictures.
