Wrath of the Titans opened in the number two spot the first weekend with $33.5 million, half of the amount Clash did two years ago when it impressed with a 61.2 million debut. Overseas numbers, however, pushed the sequel over the $100 million mark with $78 million from 60 foreign markets. Reviews from critics and fans were drastically mixed, but that didn't stop fans from going out to see the movie.
