'Prometheus' Fan Movie Reviews

As an alien prequel, PROMETHEUS is a disappointment, but judging it as a stand alone movie requires another viewing by CineMovie this opening weekend.  However, most critics seem to be enjoying Ridley Scott's return to space, but what are the real critics saying about the sci-fi flick? Fans give their opinion of PROMETHEUS.

Most people like myself are going into the film with great expectations, thanks to all the online chatter theorizing about the plot, the creature aliens, and how this movie tied into the Alien series. As CineMovie reported, however, Guy Pearce said in a recent interview that PROMETHEUS was not an Alien prequel, but merely a film that shares familiar characters.  "It's not an alien prequel.  It's a stand alone movie.  There are some characters that run through from that but it's an alien prequel" according to Pearce who plays Peter Weyland in the action flick.
