Netflix's hit series, "Stranger Things" will returning for a second season. It's going to be tough to top The Duffer Brothers' homage to 80s sci-fi and horror, but the filmmakers will return and they already have a few tricks up their sleeve. The announcement comes with cryptic trailer and titles that may be references to 80s pop culture or some surmise they are episode names. The new trailer also reveals the time frame the events occur when it returns in 2017.
SPOILER ALERT
"Stranger Things" second season takes place a year later in the fall of 1984. Season one ended with a possible tease of what's to come but will Eleven return as well since we saw her demise in the finale.
While we won't know that answer until next year, the clever announcement teases us with possible hints at what's to come with titles such as "Madmax," "The Boy Who Came Back to Life," "The Pumpkin Patch," "The Palace," "The Storm," "The Pollywog," "The Secret Cabin," "The Brain" and "The Lost Brother." The Mad Max reference is clear but what can the other titles mean. Time to dig into 1984 to see what significance these names hold.
