Netflix Reveals ‘Man on Fire’ Series Trailer and First Images with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II

Netflix released the official teaser and first look images (see below) for the upcoming action drama, Man On Fire.  Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is playing the younger version of Denzel Washington's John Creasy, and it looks like the actor can live up to what Washington established in the 2004 movie. 

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II plays the former elite mercenary alongside Billie Boullet, Bobby Cannavale, Alice Braga, and Scoot McNairy in this gripping series premiering globally on April 30, 2026, only on Netflix.

Synopsis
Based on A.J. Quinnell's book series, Man on Fire tells the story of John Creasy. Once a high-functioning and skilled Special Forces Mercenary, known for surviving even the most desolate of situations, Creasy is now plagued with intense PTSD. Determined to overcome his personal demons, he sets out on a path to redemption. But, before he can adjust to this new life, he finds himself back in the fire, fighting harder than ever.
