A peaceful retreat becomes a psychological nightmare in the chilling new trailer for Pendulum, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception) and Phoebe Dynevor (Bridgerton). What begins as a journey toward healing quickly takes a sinister turn as paranoia, manipulation, and disturbing secrets threaten to unravel everything.
Gordon-Levitt and Dynevor play a married couple seeking solace after a shared tragedy at a secluded New Mexico retreat. But when the wife falls under the influence of a mysterious spiritual leader, played by Jacki Weaver, the line between reality and delusion begins to blur. Is something truly sinister lurking beneath the retreat's peaceful facade, or is the husband's mind playing tricks on him?
The unsettling trailer teases a psychological horror story where trusting your own mind may be the most terrifying challenge of all.
Written and directed by Mark Heyman, Pendulum also stars Anna Deavere Smith, Jena Malone, and Norman Reedus, with Black Swan filmmaker Darren Aronofsky among the producers.
