The full-length trailer for THE AVENGERS premiered on iTunes last week and in 24 hours broke iTunes record for most downloaded trailer with over 10 million downloads, shattering the most-viewed trailer record in iTunes history.
How can anyone not be excited after seeing a preview of director Joss Whedon's union of Marvel super heroes. Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk. Thor, Hawkeye, and Black Widow are the Avengers fighting against Thor's evil brother Loki.
In the trailer, it's not one happy family as the Avengers go at it primarily Steve Rogers aka Captain America versus Tony Stark. And we see Thor attacking Captain America with his hammer. It's good to see Robert Downey, Jr. fully living up to Stark's snarky ways. "No offense, but I don't play well with others," Stark tells the superhero
group.
Too bad we have to wait until next summer to see if this truly will be a Marvel-ous film.
