LucasFilm Names Jon Favreau As Executive Producer And Writer for Live-Action Star Wars Series

Another live-action STAR WARS series is headed to Disney’s new direct-to-consumer platform, and Lucasfllm announced Thursday Jon Favreau will executive produce and write for the new series. Favreau is fully entrenched with the Disney family having helmed the enormously successful THE JUNGLE BOOK and launched the Marvel Cinematic Universe with IRON MAN. He makes the perfect candidate to carry on the STAR WARS legacy in a television series. Read Lucasfilm's official announcement below.

'The Alienist' Review: A Gruesome Tale Of Murder
