Directed by Shrek and Chronicle of Narnia director Andrew Adamson, executive producer James Cameron brings the same 3D technology used for Avatar to the big top to shoot the acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil. Cirque du Soleil shows are remarkable in person, but the 3D perspective should place viewers in the middle of the high-flying action.
In Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away, opening December 21st, a young couple who is separated, must journey through the astonishing and dreamlike worlds of Cirque du Soleil to find each other, as audiences experience the immersive 3D technology that will allow them to leap, soar, swim, and dance with the performers.
