The second project shot in quarantine arrives on HBO Max on January 14. LOCKED DOWN starring Anne Hathaway and Chiwetel Ejiofor, and directed by Doug Liman (EDGE OF TOMORROW, MR. & MRS. SMITH). In the trailer released, the two plan a heist in the middle of a pandemic lockdown, in addition to dealing with a breakup.

The new show follows inspiring young women around the world making a difference with their activism. There was lots of confusion regarding the new Boba Fett series coming December 2021. Many like myself were speculating it would be an entirely separate project from THE MANDALORIAN or whether the OG bounty hunter would take over the reigns of "The Mandalorian." Disney and Jon Favreau confirmed Monday morning that THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT is indeed a standalone Disney+ series starring Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen.

Aside from Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie and a baby tree, Groot, their fellow Avengers Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury, Don Cheadle's War Machine/James Rhoades and Ben Mendlesohn's Skrull character will each reprise their roles for spin-offs on Disney+. There will be a GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Holiday special and Groot shorts as well. Eddie Murphy returns as Prime Akeem in the sequel COMING 2 AMERICA with Arsenio Hall, and the movie is now headed to Amazon Prime Video on March 5, 2021. Paramount Pictures has decided to release the film digitally versus a theatrical release perhaps due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Or is it a sign the film that sees the return of Murphy in a beloved role may not be a worthy follow-up. If it has James Earl Jones returning as King Jaffe Joffer, we don't care.
