Clint Eastwood's AMERICAN SNIPER expanded its release nationwide for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend, and it seems to have paid off with a record-breaking $105.3 million take which shattered January box office records. American audiences were feeling patriotic this weekend on the heels of its Oscar nomination for Best Picture and Best Actor for Bradley Cooper.

Review: The Interview, Seth Rogen and James Franco’s Lost Film

The 2012 film The Dictator features jokes about 9/11, the raping of pregnant women, murdering newborn babies, torture and much more. Many of the subjects referenced for comedic effect and the title character, North African tyrant Omar Aladeen (Sacha Baron Cohen), stem from unsettling realities. Sony Gives in to the Cyberterrorists; Cancels Release of THE INTERVIEW

After five theater chains bowed out of releasing of THE INTERVIEW on December 25 due to the threats from the cyberterrorists known as the Guardian of Peace, Sony had no choice but to cancel all theatrical showings of Seth Rogen and James Franco's controversial comedy which involves the assasination plot of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Rumors are circulating that the movie will be released via VOD which we hope is the case so that all Americans can show unity against these people who have caused such havoc to not only Sony, but it's employees.
