As anticipated, JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX is primarily a "boy meets girl" love story, but with a twist—it’s told through the lens of a musical. This sequel reimagines the dynamic between Joker (Joaquin Phoenix) and Lady Gaga’s Harleen Quinzel, flipping the script on their relationship. Much like 2019’s JOKER, Todd Phillips delivers another thought-provoking film, one that distances itself from traditional DC properties, except for a surprising twist at the end. It's the kind of movie audiences will either love or loathe.

Adam Driver Nathalia Emmanuel Megalopis movie review

Francis Ford Coppola's MEGALOPOLIS is a head-scratcher from start to finish, feeling more like a Terrence Malick film than one from the legendary director of APOCALYPSE NOW and THE GODFATHER. While the premise offers an intriguing concept, the muddled storyline and absence of a clear protagonist leave it feeling disjointed. The saving grace, however, comes from the eccentric performances of Shia LaBeouf and Aubrey Plaza, which add a spark of unpredictability to an otherwise chaotic film.

BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE is quintessential Tim Burton. The sequel to the 1988 movie reminds fans what they love most about Burton’s films, from NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS to FRANKENWEENIE and, of course, the original BEETLEJUICE. This movie represents a flashback to Tim Burton's classics, showcasing his love of the macabre. However, the pacing is slow, and time is wasted on unnecessary subplots.

We were invited to watch Marvel Studios' first-ever concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The Infinity Saga Concert Experience was conducted by Gustavo Dudamel with the Los Angeles Philharmonic playing the iconic soundtracks from the first 10 years of the MCU. The weekend event also marks the 85th anniversary of Marvel Comics.
