Heidi Schreck brings her Tony Award-winning Broadway play, "What the Constitution Means to Me" to Amazon Prime Video. While we were taught that "all men are created equal" under the Constitution, a closer look at the document reveals women and people of color don't have equal rights. CineMovie talks to Heidi about her eye-opening show and what the Amy Coney Barrett appointment to the Supreme Court means for America.
"What the Constitution Means to Me" should be required viewing (now on Amazon Prime Video) for everyone to educate themselves about the American Constitution, especially in light of the new associate justice who leans conservative and considers herself an originalist. She describes the Constitution as a negative document in that it only considers the rights of white men who own properties including slaves. Listen to what she has to say about how that affects women and people of color.
