Fast & Furious 6 Star: ‘This One is Going To Top Them All’

Sung-Kang-Fast-Furious6-interview-450

FAST & FURIOUS 6’s Sung Kang promises the sixth film in the franchise is the best one yet. Currently starring in Bullet To Head with Sylvester Stallone, the actor boasts viewers are in for a treat with women "kicking ass" and as usual fast cars.

The American born Kang first appeared in The Fast & The Furious series in 2006 with The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.  He reprised his role four more times including in the upcoming FAST & FURIOUS 6 as Han Lue. The addition of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in Fast Five has kept the franchise going strong and we’re likely to see more.

Kang has made a name for himself in several action films with Jason Statham, Jet Li, and Bruce Willis.  When we sat down with Kang to talk Bullet To The Head, Ashley Michelle asked what we can expect from the new ride. “It’s going to be a good one,” he replied. “There are women kicking-ass and lots of fast cars of course.”  Kang is referring to Gina Carano joining the cast and going up against Michelle Rodriguez in a fight sequence that looks rather brutal in one of the first previews. Michelle Rodriguez reprises her role as Letty after being killed off in 2009’s Fast & Furious.

He went on say the film is “intense” and went as far to predict the latest sequel will “top all the other ones.”  Judging by the brand new trailer, the action is taken to an all new level with formidable new protagonists including someone from the crew (Rodriguez) returning to exact revenge.

Lastly, Kang was only happy to return to the sixth outing of The Fast and Furious movies and bringing the “family” back together.

FAST & FURIOUS 6 races into multiplexes May 24, 2013.  Kang can currently be seen in Bullet To Head at movie theaters.
