This Christmas Keanu Reeves is coming packaged as a samurai warrior in 47 RONIN and he’s got a character movie poster as do his cool-looking Japanese friends.
Keanu has been missing from the action genre for quite some time, but he was probably saving all his energy for the epic 3D action adventure in which we’ll no doubt see some cool sword-play for the first time. 47 RONIN is Clash of the Titans meets Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.Playing a half-breed named Kai, Keanu once again is sought out as the one who holds the key to salvation. Kai and the 47 samurai come across beasts, witches and other deadly forces along their journey. Pacific Rim’s Rinko Kukuchi takes up witchcraft to play an evil sorceress.
