The good news for Hollywood is four reboots were box office gold while others didn’t pan out. As everyone knows, Jurassic World dominated 2015 while Mad Max: Fury Road was a surprise hit along with showing up on numerous year-end critics list for Best Picture. The Star Wars franchise awakened big time with The Force Awakens predicted to overtake Avatar and Titanic for all time box office champ title sometime in 2016. At only 25, Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence has topped the list for the highest-paid actresses with $52 million in her pockets, according to Forbes. Scarlett Johannson came in second earning $35.5 million. Other actresses on the list include Melissa McCarthy, Jennifer Aniston, Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Anne Hathaway and Chinese star Bingbing Fan. The numbers are not soley based on movie salaries, but also include endorsement deals, in case you're wondering how someone like Scarlettt Johansson beat out Melissa McCarthy, Juia Roberts and Anne Hathway.
