Before you head out to see FANTASTIC BEASTS THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE, you may want to revisit the events from THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD. Four years of passed since the last installment and you’re painfully aware of that when the new movie begins and things don’t make sense (at least in my case).

If you’re going into MORBIUS for a comic book adaptation, you’ll be disappointed. MORBIUS plays like just another vampire movie rather than an origins Marvel story. With a predictable plot, inconsistent beats, flat dialogue and lingering characters with no purpose, MORBIUS is a huge letdown. The end credits feel like an afterthought that leaves you questioning your own sanity.

You get pure joy out of watching the actor play two completely different characters in one body. Ethan Hawks’ zen character delivers a refreshing take on an antagonist.

THE LOST CITY in no way reinvents the wheel in this action-adventure comedy but Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum are so much fun to watch on screen with their goofy antics. Adding Brad Pitt in the mix makes for some of the funniest moments in the film directed by brothers Adam and Aaron Nee.
