Less than one month to go until STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS opens in movie theaters and Spock, Kirk, Uhura, and the villain John Harrison are the only ones of the bunch getting their own character movie posters.
Four years after the Star Trek reboot by J.J. Abrams became a breakout hit, the Starship Enterprise crew are back for more adventures with a homegrown villain. Benedict Cumberbatch is the baddie causing commotion as John Harrison, a federation officer turned traitor who destroys London. Captain James T. Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto), and the USS Enterprise crew spring into action to bring down Harrison.Spock, Kirk, Uhura, and John Harrison are in action mode on their very own character movie posters. One of the federation ships has one of its own one-sheets as well which we can assume is either the USS Enterprise or another ship falling fast to Earth in a collision with the San Francisco Bay area as seen in the spectacular crash in the trailer.
To attract the women demographic, Zoe Saldana's Uhura graces one of the character posters as an action hero. Saldana was very vocal about having more action scenes STAR TREK INTO THE DARKNESS and her wish may have been granted.
