It's been 20 years since the cult classic stop-motion animated film, Tim Burton's THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS introduced us to Jack Skellington. To celebrate Disney is releasing the 20th Anniversary Edition of the Cult Classic on Blu-ray™ Hi-Def beginning September 10, 2013.
Two versions of the Blu-ray release will be available with a 3-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack (Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy) and a 2-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack (Blu-ray + DVD) & DVD. Fans get to revisit Jack Skellington, voiced by Chris Sarandon (Fright Night, The Princess Bride) in his adventures with Sally (Catherine O'Hara) and his dog, Zero. Bored with the same old scare-and-scream routine, Pumpkin King Jack Skellington longs to spread the joy of Christmas. But his merry mission puts Santa in jeopardy and creates a nightmare for good little boys and girls everywhere!You'll be able to pre-order Tim Burton's THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS starting July 16. Directed by Henry Selick (Coraline, James and the Giant Peach) and produced by Tim Burton, the anniversary release will include Spanish and French versions of the film, in addition, to English.
Tim Burton's THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS' 20th Anniversary Edition comes a month prior to Jack Skellington's favorite holiday next to Christmas - Halloween.
