The White House is taken by terrorists in the action thriller starring Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx. No, it's not that Olympus Has Fallen movie, but another movie with a similar premise. And just to remind you of that, the movie studio has released two new movie posters for WHITE HOUSE DOWN.
Both teaser one-sheets do not feature the stars but images of Washington D.C. such as the National Monument and Capitol Hill with the tagline, "It will start like any other day." The June 28, 2013 release features Jamie Foxx as the President of the United States and Channing Tatum as a Capitol Policeman, John Cale, forced to save the President when he is caught in the middle of an attack by a paramilitary group during a tour of the White House with his daughter. Cale aspires to be a Secret Service agent but was been denied his dream job protecting the President of the United States. He gets his chance when he becomes the President's only chance at getting out alive. Watch trailer.Maggie Gyllenhaal (The Dark Knight), Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty), Richard Jenkins, and James Woods also star in the Roland Emmerich-directed film. The director is no stranger to disaster and big-budgeted action films, having blown up the White House previously in Independence Day and a few other treasured monuments in The Day After Tomorrow and 2012. In WHITE HOUSE DOWN, he's back to doing what he does best - destroying more landmarks.
