The NBCUniversal Experience attraction at the Hollywood amusement park has added costumes and props from three of the five nominated films for “Best Costume Design” at the Academy Awards® earlier this year. Costumes from Universal Pictures’ Les Misérables starring Hugh Jackman and Oscar winner Anne Hathaway, Snow White and The Huntsman with Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth, as well as gowns from the category winner, Focus Features’ Anna Karenina starring Keira Knightley are all on display for visitors to admire up close.

Below is more official information about the new add-ons at The NBCUniversal Experience attraction.

The opulent opera gown worn by Anna Karenina leading lady Keira Knightley in her portrayal of the titular character is on display, as designed by this year’s Oscar®-winning costumer Jacqueline Durran, who received two previous Oscar nominations for her work with the actress on Focus Features’ Atonement and Pride & Prejudice. The unforgettable tattered dress worn by Anne Hathaway in her Oscar-winning portrayal of “Fantine” in Les Misérables is featured alongside the rebel uniform donned by “Marius” (Eddie Redmayne) and the white gown worn by “Cosette” (Amanda Seyfried). Other spectacular additions to the new showcase include the coronation dress worn by Kristen Stewart as “Snow White” in Snow White and The Huntsman and the scepter carried by Charlize Theron in her role as the movie’s evil queen.

“The NBCUniversal Experience” also features original drawings from Universal Pictures’ classics Jaws, directed by Steven Spielberg, and Dracula, as well as original matte paintings from Universal’s hits The Birds, directed by Alfred Hitchcock, and Earthquake.

“The NBCUniversal Experience” draws from a library of over 6,000 titles dating back to the Studio’s early beginnings in 1912, and features never-before-seen props and priceless Hollywood artifacts from 100 years of filmmaking, such as the 1973 Best Picture Oscar statuette for Universal Pictures’ The Sting.
