Joker Folie A Deux Joaquin Phoenix trailer

A new JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX dropped Tuesday which gives broader insight into the JOKER sequel without the musical aspect. Fleck is facing trial while institutionalized at Arkham where he will meet his future love, Harley Quinn.

Will JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX match the success of the first JOKER movie? The 2019 earned over $1 billion globally and earned Joaquin Phoenix his first Academy Award for Best Actor and Best Score.

In the trailer, Joker is adored by the masses who emulate his Joker look. Lady Gaga's Harley Quinn also seems to escape Arkham and is loose on the streets. The preview jumps back and forth between the institution and the streets with no explanation.

All will be revealed when the JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX is in theaters on October 4.
