Based on the life of Rudy Mancuso, the internet star and artist who also serves as the director, screenwriter, and protagonist, MÚSICA is a story of coming of age love story that follows an aspiring artist with synesthesia, a neurological phenomenon in which stimulation of one sense involuntarily triggers an experience in another sense. For Rudy, his synesthesia allows his mind to organize the sounds he hears in his daily life into different rhythms and beats. The film follows Rudy as he navigates an uncertain future amidst the pressures of love, family, and his Brazilian culture in Newark, New Jersey. The film also features stellar performances by Camila Mendes (Riverdale, Upgraded), Francesca Reale (DO REVENGE, STRANGE WORLD), J.B. Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm), and Maria Mancuso.
MÚSICA will be available globally on Amazon Prime Video starting April 4.
