Former rom-com darling Meg Ryan returns to movie theaters as the star and director in the romantic comedy, WHAT HAPPENS LATER with David Duchovny. Watch the first trailer for the movie.
Best known for SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE, WHEN HARRY MET SALLY and YOU'VE GOT MAIL, Meg Ryan disappeared from the limelight after 2010. Most recently, she's had bit parts in television projects.
Ryan is center stage in WHAT HAPPENS LATER with Duchovny as her love interest. The new trailer returns Ryan to her roots, and most fans will be overjoyed to see her back at a theater near them.
Official Synopsis
Two ex lovers, Bill (David Duchovny) and Willa (Meg Ryan) get snowed in at a regional airport overnight. Indefinitely delayed, Willa, a magical thinker, and Bill, a catastrophic one, find themselves just as attracted to and annoyed by one another as they did decades earlier. But as they unpack the riddle of their mutual past and compare their lives to the dreams they once shared, they begin to wonder if their reunion is mere coincidence, or something more enchanted.WHAT HAPPENS LATER opens in movie theaters on October 13.
