Selena Gomez carjacking Ethan Hawke? There's a lot of car action this summer with another entry into the fast lane with GETAWAY. The new trailer and movie poster are out for the action thriller opening August 30.
We haven't seen this much of Ethan Hawke either with this being his third summer flick this year. His third film with Richard Linklater and Julie Delphy, Before Midnight is currently in movie theatres along with The Purge.
GETAWAY is one of three films featuring fast cars this summer. Fast & Furious 6 has already proven a summer powerhouse and Paul Walker is also driving for his life in the July release of Vehicle 19.
Official Movie Synopsis:
Thriller. Getaway is the gritty, heart-pounding action thriller in which former race car driver Brent Magna (Ethan Hawke) is pitted against the clock. Desperately trying to save the life of his kidnapped wife, Brent commandeers a custom Shelby Cobra Mustang, taking it and its unwitting owner (Selena Gomez) on a high-speed race against time, at the command of the mysterious villain holding his wife hostage.
