127 Hours, Black Swan, The Kids Are All Right and Winter's Bone dominated the list of nominees for the 2011 Independent Spirit Awards. Eva Mendes and Jeremy Renner announced the nominees Tuesday morning along with 2011 Spirit Awards host Joel McHale (The Soup, Community).  Nominees for Best Feature include 127 Hours, Black Swan, Greenberg, The Kids Are All Right and Winter's Bone.


Hollywood's A-List talent dominated the Independent Spirit Awards in the Best Lead Actor and Supporting Actor Categories such as Nicole Kidman (Rabbit Hole), Annette Bening (The Kids Are Alright), Natalie Portman (Black Swan), Michelle Williams (Blue Valentine), James Franco (127 Hours), Ben Stiller (Greenberg), Aaron Eckhart (Rabbit Hole), and Samuel L. Jackson (Mother and Child).

The indie film Winter's Bone received the most nominations in 7 categories, followed by the The Kids Are Alright with 5 nominations, and a three-way tie for 4 nominations going to Black Swan, Rabbit Hole, and Greenberg.

Please Give was selected for the Robert Altman Award, which is given to one film's director, casting director and ensemble cast...  

Selected from 220 submissions, this year's winners will be announced at the Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. on the beach in Santa Monica.  The 26th annual awards show will air exclusively that night on IFC at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
