The Dark Night Rises Poster & Teaser Trailer Plot Revealed

It's an exciting week for Batman fans. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES first teaser movie poster was revealed this week and the teaser trailer will debut before Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 movie. But if you just can't wait until this weekend, someone has leaked the trailer sequence online.
Warner Bros. debut the third Batman teaser poster on www.thedarkknightrises.com in a mysterious reveal that echoed the earlier viral marketing campaign for the launch of official website, which sent users on a treasure hunt on Twitter to decode a message that eventually revealed the first photo of Tom Hardy as Bane.
As suspected, the ominous teaser poster suggest the Christopher Nolan-directed film will be even darker than its predecessor. There's some Inception-like influence in the art work on the crumbling skyscrapers as the bat signal descends into the destruction of the city.
We'll see if the teaser trailer debut this weekend on the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 movie conveys the same doomsday message. Of course, this being the internet, Ain't It Cool News got the scoop on the trailer from various projectionists who contacted the Harry Knowles website.
