As a a multi-tasker, I’ll watch a television show or movie while glued to my computer or iPhone. So as a creature of habit, I popped in my advance copy of the WORLD WAR Z Blu-ray and started to watch the uncut version of the film while I worked online. Grant it, I saw the film in movie theaters when it opened, but the film still proved as intense and the commotion on screen made it hard to concentrate on anything else but the movie. While I didn’t spot too much of a difference between the theatrical and uncut version, the length of the action sequences may have been longer. The second viewing on a much smaller screen proved just as intense and edge-of-your-seat fun. Watch trailer
The bonus features include behind the scenes footage and commentary. While nothing to write home about, the scientific and historical background on zombies in the “Looking for Zombies” featurette was very intriguing and eye-opening.
