Kate Beckinsale returns as the sexy, but deadly Selene in another installment of the Underworld series in UNDERWORLD: AWAKENINGS, and at Comic Con over the weekend, she talked bout getting back into the role.

In the fourth film from the Underworld franchise, Selene wakes from a long hibernation to discover the vampires and Lycans have been killed off by the government. Selene also finds out she has a teenage daughter.
Scott Speedman does not rreturn as Selene's love interest. Michael Ealy and Charles Dance join the cast. Swedish directors Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein direct their first American production.
UNDERWORLD: AWAKENINGS is set for release in movie theaters January 20, 2012.
