Last summer, the film's director Steven Spielberg surprised fans in Hall H when he introduced his producing partner Peter Jackson who wasn't originally scheduled for an in-person appearance at the 2011 convention. Together at a panel discussion for THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN, the two filmmakers talked about their experience working on their first animated film using motion capture.
Based Herge's comic book series, THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN stars Jamie Bell as TinTin, Andy Serkis, Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Cary Elwes. Jackson and Spielberg aren't the only directors behind the new animated adventure. Shaun of the Dead and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World director-writer Edgar Wright and Attack of the Block writer-director Joe Cornish co-wrote the screenplay along with Steven Moffat (Doctor Who).
THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN is now playing in movie theaters.
