VIDEO: If PARANORMAN Star Could See Dead People, He'd Talk To Tupac & Kurt Cobain

Kodi Smit Mcphee video interview

Kodi Smit-McPhee
voices the character of Norman in PARANORMAN, the stop-motion comedy with Norman who sees and and talks to dead people.  In real life, if Kodi had the special power, he would love to talk to musicians who have passed such as Tupac Shakur and Nirvana's frontman Kurt Cobain.

At the green carpet of  PARANORMAN'S Universal CityWalk's premiere, our Pili Montillo took to the star-studded event to talk to PARANORMAN's stars, co-directors, and celebrity guests.  The star of the film Kodi-Smit-McPhee (Let Me In, The Road) stopped by to tell CineMovie what he would do if in real-life he had the power to talk to the dead people.

"I think I would talk to a lot of the old musicians that we have lost because I would love to talk to them.  Tupac, I guess,  and Kurt Cobain, and some of the people we just really missed."

Kodi's co-star and former Cosby Show actress Tempestt Bledsoe (voice of Sheriff Hooper) also chimed in on what she would do with the ability to be a ghost whisperer. She joked she would use her "powers for good" but she admits she is a bit "naughty" and might "exploit her powers."  She later recanted and said she's better off not having those powers.

PARANORMAN co-directed Sam Fell added to the fun by stating he would love to talk to Elvis Presley or Fell's grandfather who he lost at a very young age.

PARANORMAN is in movie theaters August 17, 2012.
