JUST MERCY is based on Stevenson's book by the same name. Jordan portrays Stevenson, who became a lawyer specifically to be help black men and women wrongfully accused. Foxx portrays Johnny D. who was convicted and on death row for the robbery and murder of a white business woman. While there was no direct evidence, the police framed the murder on Johnny D using a witness who was given leniacy for his own crime if he testified against an innocent man.
JUST MERCY will be available only for the month of June.
