On Saturday, Marvel Studios' Hall H showcase brought together returning Avengers and new Avengers for the San Diego Comic Con convention. The biggest news out of the Con was the return of Robert Downey Jr. in a new role as Doctor Doom, and the Russo Brothers are back in the director's chair for the next two Avenger movies, AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY and AVENGERS: SECRET WARS. James Cameron's THE TERMINATOR celebrates its 40th anniversary with a 4K restoration. At a recent 4K screening in Los Angeles, producer and co-writer of the action movie, Gale Anne Hurd sat down for a Q&A afterward. She revealed the iconic movie was an independent venture, heavily influenced by their mentor, Roger Corman. Everyone around them believed the movie would fail, so it surprised everyone when it debuted at #1 with a $4 million opening weekend (on 1,005 screens) in 1986.

DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE is hilarious from start to finish with tons and tons of X-Men and MCU references, and countless cameos for your nerdy pleasure. If you're a fan of the X-MEN movies and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's a two-hour nerd fest. Even for those unfamiliar with the franchises, there's still plenty to laugh about. Don't worry, the Disney ownership didn't affect the irreverence of the franchise with the filmmakers doubling down on the provocative and violence.
