Remember "The Star Wars Holiday Special" back in 1978? Disney has announced a follow-up to the Holiday special in LEGO form for Disney+ airing Tuesday, November 17. The cast of the new STAR WARS movies will return in an animated version in the "LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special.” The Disney press release reveals the story directly follows the events of STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER, so in a way we're getting a sequel.

The half-hour special he titled "8:46" in reference to how long a knee was to his neck, is streaming for free on Netflix's YouTube channel, the comedian tackles the protest, CNN's Don Lemon, a black conseravatives' view of Floyd's culpability (she will remain unnamed) and give historical context of racial injustice. While there are some funny gags, Chapelle uses the time to rant about the events of the last two weeks.

Apple is bringing back Jim Henson's classic 80s characters, The Fraggles in “Fraggle Rock: Rock On!,” and the first episode is now streaming along with other educational programming for families for free for a limited time.

No doubt everyone will have a lot of time on their hands while in isolation during the coronavirus pandemic. The only good news out of the crisis is that we'll have time to binge-watch movies and televison shows all day long. Now more studios are taking Universal's route and releasing current film releases on VOD early. Warner Bros. will be releasing Margot Robbie's BIRDS OF PREY and Guy Ritchie's THE GENTLEMEN, and Vin Diesel's recent release BLOODSHOT is also coming to an early digital release.

Universal Pictures announced Monday their upcoming TROLLS WORLD TOUR and recent film releases like THE INVISIBLE MAN, THE HUNT and EMMA will be made available for rent on digital starting as soon as Friday, March 20.

With the coronavirus crisis isolating many, Disney is making FROZEN 2 available three months early on Disney+ this Sunday. The Disney announcement (see below) states the move is based on the current global pandemic of coronavirus. "Disney+ adds FROZEN 2 early for families during these challenging times," say the release. No doubt watching FROZEN 2 will put a smile on many faces.
