PARANORMAL ACTIVITY is back this Halloween season for more documentary-style scares, with their usual tricks to market the film including using social media to get the film to your city in advance. 


PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3 explained the origin story of Katie & Kristy.  PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4 takes place in present day, using current forms of technology such as the iPhones, Skype, etc.). Who is the mysterious neighbor and are we finally finding out what happened to Katie & Hunter? PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4 is in theaters October 19th.

Paramount Pictures is running a social media contest titled "Want It" on the film's website for fans to get their votes in around the globe for the top 25 cities nationwide to receive a free screening. The current cities in the running include Lima, Peru; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Paris, France; Moscow, Russia; New York, NY; and London, UK. Oscar Winner: ARGO Takes Best Picture

ARGO was up for eight nominations at the 85th Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor for Alan Arkin, Film Editing, Original Music Score, Film Editing, Sound Editing, and Sound Mixing. Sunday night, Ben Affleck, George Clooney and Grant Heslov took home a golden statuette for Best Picture as producers of the film.

Ben Affleck stars and directs ARGO, a true-story based on events in the Iran hostage crisis.  The buzz is already brewing for Affleck's third directorial effort  as a contender in the upcoming award-season including Oscar potential for the multi-hyphenate.
