Will is no stranger to animation (Curious George) but MEGAMIND is his first voiceover work as the lead.  "I've never really done any of this stuff before so it was exciting to work on a Jeffrey Katzenberg movie," he tells CineMovie.

Will felt a "great amount of freedom" voicing the villain when it came to improvising on the spot.  Will's co-stars Tina Fey (Date Night, 30 Rock) and David Cross  (Arrested Development, Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 ) also found it  "feeing" and "liberating" but Tina especially enjoyed not having to worry about her looks while voicing Rachel, Megamind's love interest.  Will joked that regardless of being off camera, he still showed up in a 3-piece suit.      Watch MEGAMIND trailer

One area that Will found himself taking seriously was learning to switch up the emotion of his character Megamind.  "What is lost on these projects is how hard it is to articulate any sort of  emotional gear shift just with your voice.  That was the hardest parts for me," according to the comedic actor.  The experience, however, didn't put him off from working on another animation project.

Another first for Anchorman is his Spanish language role in Casa De Mi Padre with Diego Luna and Gael Garcia, a Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernalnovela-style comedy Will calls  a "crazy  Spanish language movie" directed by Matt Piedmont, a director who works on Will Farrell's website Funny or Die Presents.  Will said he was "thrilled" to work on the foreign-language project but his claim to only know  "poquito" Spanish will certainly be interesting to see when its released.  The storyline is being kept under-wraps and so is his handling of the Spanish dialogue but he did reveal his co-stars Diego and Gael were  "two of the nicest guys" and "fantastic comedic actors."   "It was a thrill for me to work with those guys," he further added.  They could not have been better in the movie."  The film is currently in post production with no release date announced.

CineMovie is very excited to see Will Farrell in his first Spanish role but until then, the entertaining actor can be seen in the highly-entertaining MEGAMIND 3-D in movie theaters starting November 5.
