TRAILER: Sylvester Stallone Headlines Action Film BULLET TO THE HEAD

Stallone has seen some success with his return to the action genre in 2010 with The Expendables. Premiering ahead of The Expendables 2 opening weekend, Stallone owned that screen with his future movie preview along with his current starring role. Ironically Arnold Schwarzenegger's trailer to his headlining project The Last Stand also was shown ahead of the film, with another on-screen tough guy getting in on the action. Tom Cruise's Jack Reacher trailer was another preview crammed into the line-up.

In BULLET TO THE HEAD, Sylvester Stallone stars as a New Orleans hitman who forms an alliance with a New York City cop to bring down the killer of their respective partners. Also returning to the action genre is director Walter Hill (48 Hours, The Warriors) who hasn't directed a film since 2002 on Undisputed starring Wesley Snipes and Ving Rhames.  He's also directed Stallone's Expendables co-stars Bruce Willis (Last Man Standing) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (Red Heat).  Hill, as a writer/producer, has his name on big franchises like Alien/Prometheus films.

BULLET TO THE HEAD aims for movie theaters in February 1, 2013.
