La Llorona Video Diary with Wilmer Valderrama

Latino parents have kept their kids on a short leash by threatening them with the tale of La Llorona for many generations. Wilmer Valderrama recounts how his mother used the urban legend of the woman cursed to roam the earth for the death of her children, to keep him in line.

Never heard of La Llorona (the crying woman)? Then you haven't been to Universal Studios Hollywood's “Halloween Horror Nights®” where the frightening woman wants your children. La Llorona attraction was created by Guillermo del Toro and should scare your children straight.  Latino celebrities like Wilmer Valerrama, Kate del Castillo, L.A. Dodgers' Luis Cruz, and members of the Mexican regional group Banda Recorditos recorded their own stories of La Llorona in the "La Llorona" Video Diaries which will be released weekly.
