Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony teamed up with American Idol creator Simon Fuller and concert tour and music video director Jamie King for the new television series. They have also partnered with Facebook, YouTube, and Blackberry® to launch an epic 21-country search across the Americas for talented individuals. American Airlines has signed on as an exclusive category sponsor, along with BlackBerry.
Jennifer, Marc, and Jamie have been traveling throughout the Americas since October 2011 to meet the most outstanding singers, musicians, dancers and other amazing artists that they have discovered for ¡Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN via their personal networks, grassroots efforts, and an unprecedented social media campaign on YouTube (youtube.com/qviva) and Facebook (facebook.com/qvivathechosen).
The Spanish-language network will air the 12 one-hour weekly episodes of ¡Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN every Saturday at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central).
