Oasis Documentary Film By Steven Knight Coming To Theaters And Disney+

A new documentary chronicling the long-awaited reunion of legendary Britpop band Oasis is heading to theaters and streaming later this year. Disney, magna studios, and Sony Music Vision announced the untitled feature documentary, created by Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace.

The documentary follows Liam and Noel Gallagher during the band’s highly anticipated Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour, capturing backstage moments, rehearsals, live performances, and the brothers’ first joint interviews together in more than 25 years. The film also explores the emotional connection fans around the world have with Oasis and their music.

The feature will debut in IMAX and theaters worldwide on September 11 for a limited engagement before streaming globally later this year, with U.S. audiences able to watch on Hulu and Disney+.

Knight described the documentary as a celebration of music’s power to unite people across generations and cultures, calling Oasis’ reunion “a global cultural moment.” Disney executive Eric Schrier also praised the film as an intimate story about reconciliation and one of the most influential rock bands of all time.

The documentary promises unprecedented access and never-before-seen footage from one of 2025’s biggest music events, with more details and theater listings expected soon.
