'Batgirl' Begins Production

HBO Max's BATGIRL movie has begun production with Leslie Grace as the DC character. Director Adil El Arbi announced the news on his Instagram account with an image of the slate above the desk of Barbara Gordon. It also reveals the new DCEU movie will be shot in 60 FPS for the streaming service.

The film is based on Richard Montañez's rise from janitor to a marketing executive at Frito-Lay company and helped turn the Flamin' Hot Cheetos into a global phenomenon. The film stars Jesse Garcia (Snowfall) as Monañex, Dennis Haysbert, Emilio Rivera, Tony Shalhoub, Pepe Serna and others.

'Black Widow' Surpasses Expectations at the Box Office and on Disney Plus Premier Access

Disney also released figures for the first time for Disney+ Premiere Access since it took in an impressive $60 million.
