The setting couldn’t have been more perfect to talk all things martial arts with GI JOE: RETALIATION’s Jon M. Chu and Ray Park at the Martial Arts Museum in Burbank, CA. Apart from getting a demonstration in martial arts, CineMovie toured the facilities to gawk at the ninja wear, weaponry and history of martial arts. The event was held to celebrate the home release of GI JOE: RETALIATION coming to digital download, Blu-ray and DVD on July 30th.
Stuntman and martial artist Ray Park tells CineMovie Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee played a big part in his decision to be become a stuntman and actor in films. Best known for playing Darth Maul in "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace," Toad in "X-Men," and Snake Eyes in "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra", and "G.I JOE", Ray joins director Jon M. Chu to talk about the influence of martial arts in the film and what to expect from the Blu-ray and DVD release on July 30th.
