Pre-Order 'Marvel's The Avengers' & 'Prometheus' on DVD & Blu-ray Now On Amazon

Neither film has a home release date yet, but Amazon is helping to hype both movies with announcement of advance pre-orders for the two summer blockbusters. Marvel's The Avengers continues to shatter box office records with a record breaking $1 billion take worldwide while Ridley Scott's Prometheus, starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, and Charlize Theron, hasn't even opened in the United States. The Alien-prequel is set to open June 8th in the United States, and available for pre-orders before audiences get a chance to see it.

For The Avengers, Amazon is offering a $5 discount on the $34.99 Four-Disc Combo through the Disney Coupon Book until June 7, 2012. For Prometheus, similarly, Amazon offered the first 5,000 customers a certificate valid for a $10 admission to the Ridley Scott film at any participating movie theaters to redeem by August 31, 2012. The admission tickets went fast over the June 1st weekend as Amazon is no longer offering the perk on their site.
